Wyoming Indians have joined several tribes in Montana, Idaho and Washington in a suit against the federal government involving land claims of more than $68,000,000. The Indians claim the rights to the hunting grounds in southwest Montana, northwest Wyoming, secured by treaty in 1855 and taken later from them. The suit is filed under the law enacted in March 1924 which gives the court of claims jurisdiction over land disputes.
