The great iron-clad gunboat Neosho was launched to-day at 4 o’clock. She is designed on the Monitor plan.
Gen. Davidson’s division has been joined to the army of the frontier, and not attacked, as the telegraph blunderingly said lately.
A scouting party from Warrensburgh, Johnson county, returned on Monday with seventy-five rebels, including five commissioned officers, returning from the Southern army. On their persons were found letters to secession sympathizers in North Missouri, counselling a guerilla uprising.
A private note from Frank Blair, says that Gen. Grant is sure to reopen the Mississippi River, in connection with the gunboats, in spite of the rebels at Vicksburg.
