New York, Feb. 21—(AP)—A federal order has been issued instructing prohibition agents in this city to confine their purchase of liquor evidence to the less expensive drinks, such as gin or whiskey, selling from 50 cents to a dollar a drink, and to refrain buying champagne and other of the more expensive drinks. Federal officials said today that henceforth in their drive to padlock places selling liquor, the agents will no longer purchase champagne at $20 and $25 a quart.
