DESPATCH OF CARGOES FROM ITALY.
(DAILY MAIL TELEGRAM.)
Rome, Thursday.
The steamer Konig, of the German East African Line, sailed for Naples to-day with a large cargo of rifles and ammunition, as well as 300 mules and a quantity of food, all destined for the Transvaal. Several other cargoes of a similar nature will in all probability follow, as a contract has been made with an Austro-Italian firm for the exportation of arms, ammunition, etc., to the Transvaal by steamers of the German East African Line.
