The families of our volunteers continue to make trouble for the city officials and police, and seem determined to keep up their complaints until the Corporation affords some relief. Yesterday morning a crowd of women gathered about the City Hall, and laid siege to the front and rear doors, which were guarded by policemen, and no suspicious looking person in petticoats was allowed to pass in on any account whatsoever. The women were so obstreperous that the police were obliged to drive them outside the railings, and considerable prudence was obliged to be exercised to keep them from giving vent to their excitement in a regular fighting exhibition.
