Little Sara Delano Roosevelt, 2-year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Roosevelt, is presiding in state at the White House, the only member of the official family here at present.
Her father, son of the President, and her mother are en route to Europe. The President and Mrs. Roosevelt are not expected to return here until Thursday. Meanwhile, the curly-haired little miss has at her beck and call the entire White House staff, the two nurses in whose care she arrived here today, the wide White House lawns and the well stocked toy room of the mansion.
