The Hindoo Fakeers

The Hindoo Fakeers exhibited in Music Hall Tuesday afternoon and evening. The syndicate who hired the crowd invited the children of the public schools to the entertainment in the afternoon and the young folks thoroughly enjoyed the wonderful tricks. In the evening a small audience were entertained by the Fakeers, the basket trick alone being worth the price of the whole show. The jugglers were introduced at each entertainment by Capt. Edward F. Griswold, who told the people how common such sights were in India and assured the audience that they would see just what one could see on the streets of Bombay or Calcutta every day in the year.
