George A. Mason yesterday commenced an action in district court against the St. Paul Fire and Marine Insurance company to recover $666.67 alleged to be due on a policy of Insurance. According to the complaint, Mason was owner of two thirds of the steam yacht “Mabel.” The owners took out a policy of insurance for $1,000, and the yacht was totally destroyed by fire at Minnetonka in August, 1899. Mason alleges that his fellow owner received $333.33 from the company, but he himself has never been paid.
