Mr. ANDERSON then called the attention of the house to the numerous shipwrecks, with extensive loss of life, which have recently occurred the Shetland Islands, and to the great deficiency of coast lights on those islands.
After a few words from Mr. HUME, and the Lord ADVOCATE, the matter dropped.
