Washington, May 21.—(AP)—The Vermont “maple sugar special,” a train carrying four cars displaying Vermont products, including 25,000 pounds of maple sugar, arrived here tonight.
A delegation of local Vermonters, including Senators Dale and Green, Representatives Grigham and Gibson and members of the Vermont State Association, headed by Mrs. William E. Chamberlain, greeted the visitors. The visiting delegation aboard the train was headed by Governor and Mrs. Billings.
President Coolidge is expected to visit the train tomorrow. The special was opened to public inspection tonight. The Vermont visitors will be given a reception tomorrow night, preceding the departure of the special at midnight.
